1 1/2 cups FRENCH'S® Crispy Fried Onions White Cheddar or FRENCH'S® Crispy Fried Onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup shredded taco-style cheese
1 cup mild salsa
FINELY crush 1 cup Crispy Fried Onions. Place in pie plate; stir in cilantro, chili, cumin and salt. Reserve remaining onions.
DIP chicken into beaten egg, then into crumb mixture, pressing gently to coat lightly.
HEAT 2 tbsp. oil in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken for 10 minutes until chicken is no longer pink in center, turning once. Sprinkle with cheese and remaining onions. Cook, covered, until cheese melts. Serve with salsa. Garnish with cilantro sprigs if desired.
