4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves , sliced thin
4 cups FRENCH'S™ Crispy Jalapeños
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
4 hoagie rolls, split , toasted
Jalapeño Lime Sauce
lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion
PREHEAT the oven to 400°F. Season the chicken with Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. Set aside until ready to use.
Place the FRENCH'S ® Crispy Jalapeños in a zip top bag and crush with a mallet until finely crushed. Place the crushed FRENCH'S ® Crispy Jalapeños, flour and eggs in three separate baking dishes.
DREDGE the chicken in the flour, dip in egg and coat in the Crispy Jalapeños. Repeat with remaining chicken.
PLACE chicken on a baking rack and bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through, or a meat thermometer registers 165°F.
SPREAD each half of the hoagie rolls with 1 tablespoon of the jalapeño lime sauce. Top with the Crispy Jalapeño chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onions and Crispy Jalapeños. Place the top roll on the sandwich and serve.
Tip: Keep the chicken warm in a 200°F oven before serving.
