2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/3 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 (14 3/4 ounce) can cream-style corn
1 1/3 cups FRENCH'S® Crispy Fried Onions White Cheddar or FRENCH'S® Crispy Fried Onions
1 cup diced cooked chicken
2 Tbsp. chopped green chiles
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
MELT butter in 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Sauté vegetables 3 minutes until crisp-tender. Blend in flour; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in milk and corn. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 4 minutes until thickened, stirring often.
ADD 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions, chicken and chilies. Cook until heated through. Serve soup in bowls. Sprinkle with remaining Crispy Onions and cheese.
