1/4 lb. ground sirloin
1/4 lb. ground short rib
1/4 lb. ground bacon
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
8 yellow cheddar cheese slices
4 brioche buns, sliced in half and toasted
1 red onion, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
2 beefsteak tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups FRENCH'S™ Crispy Jalapeños
PREHEAT a griddle over medium high heat. Place the FRENCH'S ® Crispy Jalapeños in a zip top bag and crush using a mallet or rolling pin. Set aside.
COMBINE the ground sirloin, ground short rib, ground bacon and FRENCH'S ® Crispy Jalapeños in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until combined. Divide burger meat into 4 equal size patties, 6 oz each. Season the outside of each with salt and pepper.
COOK the patties on the griddle, about 3 minutes per side. Top each patty with two slices of cheddar cheese and allow to melt. Remove from grill.
SPREAD the bottom of each bun with burger sauce and top with lettuce, onion, tomato and the burger patty. Top each burger with FRENCH'S ® Crispy Jalapenos and the top bun.
Tip: Bring the burger patties to room temperature before grilling for even cooking.
